Battle of the Bands is a Primary/Intermediate School band competition for the Greater Wellington Region.

Battle of the Bands provides a fun, competitive, “big stage" experience for our young contestants.
Sign up a band and get ready to represent your school. We look forward to seeing you get on stage, rocking out and having fun!

Battle of the Bands is free to watch. We encourage you to come and support your school. Its a relaxed atmosphere where you may come and go in between acts.
Food and drink will be available for purchase throughout the day.

Entry fee is $160 + GST per band (School’s can enter more than one band).
For years 5 - 8 students and up to 10 members per band.
Bands can perform covers and/or originals and will get a 12 minute slot to perform.
